Backup & Disaster Recovery
Protect data across VMs, containers, databases, endpoints and SaaS (Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Salesforce) with immutable, air-gapped backups and rehearsed disaster-recovery runbooks that meet aggressive RTO/RPO targets.
Backup & Disaster Recovery — engineered by Graviton Infratech
Graviton Infratech delivers enterprise backup and disaster recovery (BDR) services across the UAE and Saudi Arabia — designed for a world where ransomware operators explicitly target backup infrastructure. Every solution follows the modern 3-2-1-1-0 rule: three copies of data, on two media, with one off-site, one immutable/air-gapped, and zero errors on restore verification.
We protect the full stack: VMware, Hyper-V, Nutanix, physical servers, Windows / Linux endpoints, Oracle / SQL Server / PostgreSQL / SAP HANA databases, Kubernetes clusters, file servers, NAS and — critically — SaaS applications like Microsoft 365, Google Workspace and Salesforce, which are not backed up by the vendor beyond limited retention.
Disaster Recovery as a Service (DRaaS) uses replication and orchestration (Zerto, Veeam CDP, Azure Site Recovery, VMware SRM) to deliver near-zero RPO and RTOs measured in minutes for tier-1 workloads. Warm-standby environments in our regional DR site or in Azure / AWS give you a tested, contractually guaranteed failover — not a spreadsheet.
Every engagement includes a documented DR plan, quarterly test drills with signed reports, ransomware playbooks and compliance evidence for SAMA, NCA, PDPL, HIPAA and ISO 27001 auditors. When a real incident happens, our recovery engineers work alongside your team under a defined SLA until services are back.

Backup & Disaster Recovery — frequently asked questions.
What is the 3-2-1-1-0 backup rule?+
Three copies of data, on two different media, one copy off-site, one copy immutable or air-gapped, and zero errors after automated restore verification. It is the modern standard for ransomware-resilient backup.
Do you back up Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace?+
Yes. Microsoft and Google explicitly recommend third-party backup for Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams and Gmail / Drive. We deliver managed SaaS backup with granular restore and long-term retention.
What RTO and RPO can you achieve?+
With traditional backup, typical RTO is 2–8 hours and RPO is 4–24 hours. With replication / CDP and DRaaS we deliver RTOs of minutes and RPOs measured in seconds for tier-1 workloads.
How do you protect backups from ransomware?+
We combine immutability (S3 Object Lock, hardened Linux repositories, insider-protection PINs), air-gapped copies, MFA on the backup console, least-privilege RBAC, anomaly detection and periodic clean-room recovery tests.
Do you offer Disaster Recovery as a Service (DRaaS)?+
Yes. We deliver DRaaS from regional DR sites and public cloud (Azure, AWS) using Zerto, Veeam, VMware SRM and native cloud replication — with orchestrated failover, testing and monthly reports.
How often should DR plans be tested?+
We recommend at least quarterly for tier-1 applications and annually for the full plan. Every test produces a signed report you can present to auditors and the board.
Can you help meet SAMA, NCA and PDPL data residency requirements?+
Yes. We architect backup and DR with in-country data residency in KSA and the UAE, encryption with customer-managed keys and full audit trails to satisfy SAMA CSF, NCA ECC and PDPL.
What if we already own Veeam or Rubrik?+
Perfect. We deliver a managed backup service on your existing licenses — health monitoring, restore assistance, DR testing and reporting — often at lower cost than replacing the platform.
